▶涂层膜厚
宝钢彩涂产品的膜厚严格按照宝钢Q/BQB440相关条款进行管理。例如，市场上需求量最大的宝钢普通聚酯彩涂钢板，其上表面总膜厚保证≥20μm（微米）。
为了保证产品的质保年限，宝钢部分产品（高耐候聚酯产品、氟碳等）也会提高相应的膜厚控制标准（膜厚控制目标：高耐候22um（微米），氟碳23um（微米）。

▶质保年限
宝钢氟碳和高耐候产品分别提供20年和15年的质保年限。该两种质保提供对彩涂钢板涂层颜色变化、光泽变化、涂层完整性等的保证。这些变化指的是彩涂钢板整个使用寿命周期中前期发生的变化－－涂层变化，还未对镀层钢板造成实质性的损坏。
彩涂钢板在建筑物构件中的整个使用寿命包括：涂层失光-->涂层变色-->涂层粉化-->涂层开裂-->涂层起泡-->白锈（镀层腐蚀）-->红锈（钢板腐蚀)-->钢板穿孔-->彩涂钢板失去作用。
